SRINAGAR: Senior journalist Khursheed Wani’s father passed away. He was unwell for along time.
Ghulam Hassan Wani was 74 and was not well for many years. He is survived by two sons and three daughters, all of them settled.
Family sources said his father was admitted to the SHMS hospital late last evening. He initially responded to the treatment but finally he lost his battle for life and breathed his last Monday afternoon. He was living with his family in Devar village of Tral. The family has moved his mortal remains to Devar for funerals at the ancestral village. Sources said his funeral prayers will be held before Maghrib, the evening prayers, at Devar.
