SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer (Distribution), Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), has announced scheduled power interruptions across several areas of Jammu division on Tuesday, November 12, to facilitate necessary maintenance works.
According to the official notification, electricity supply to Sangaldan, Gool and adjoining areas will remain suspended from 12 noon to 4 p.m. the same day.
Similarly, Biaspur, Kotli, Kalyana, Sai Kalan, Khanachack, Abdullian, Nikowal and nearby areas will face power outages from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Officials said the shutdowns are part of routine maintenance to ensure reliable and improved electricity supply in the region. Power will be restored immediately after the completion of the work, the department added.
