SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer (Distribution), Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Jammu district on January 25 and January 27 due to maintenance works.
According to an official statement, electricity supply to Changran, Chak Desa Singh, Manke Talab, Shiva Nagar, Durga Nagar, Government Degree College, Ward No. 2, District Jail, Super Bazaar, Jakhbar and adjoining areas will remain affected on January 25 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Besides, power supply to Bishnah, Chak Hasla, Rehal, Pandorian, Sehora and surrounding areas will remain disrupted on January 27 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Consumers in the affected localities have been advised to make necessary arrangements during the shutdown period.
