The joint resistance leadership on Tuesday has called for a valley-wide shutdown on Wednesday against the ‘recent killings and search operations’ in South and north Kashmir.
In a statement, they appealed people to observe a shutdown on Wednesday.
A lady was killed in South Kashmiri’s Shopian district on Tuesday during an encounter in which two militants were also killed.
similarly, another lady was also killed in Handwara district by the forces during an encounter last week.
