Srinagar

The joint resistance leadership, comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, while strongly condemning the arrest of seven Dukhtaran-e-Millat activists, has said that government forces after killing our youth do not allow us to even mourn their death.

“This is utmost highhandedness and moral bankruptcy to handcuff female freedom activists,” JRL said in a statement.

The leaders said that “stooges” of Delhi have gone so low that they tarnish apart even their own laws. They said that rhetoric of respect and dignity of womenfolk, especially that of the women chief minister, draws totally hoax when it comes to dealing with our nation.

JRL appealed the international forums of justice and human rights organizations to take strong note of these “gross violations” of basic rights.
