Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Mohammad Yasin Malik met at the residence of senior resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani at Hyderpora, sources said on Tuesday.
The trio according to sources are to discuss Delhi’s talks offer and a possible “joint response.”
The meeting is also expected to finalise the six-member committee to be formed for wider consultations with a cross-section of society to frame an alternate strategy to strike calls.
Notably, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh recently said that he was ready to talk to Hurriyat and Pakistan.
