The Joint Resistance Leadership on Monday staged a protest demonstration at Abi Guzar in Srinagar against the killing of two civilians during clashes by government forces in Ganawpora village of district Shopian.
Scores of JRL leaders and activists assembled in Abi Guzar area of Srinagar and protested against the killings.
Two civilians from Shopian district, Javed Ahmad Bhat and Suhail Javed Lone were killed in forces firing at Ganowpora Village in Shopian district.
Sources said people flocked in large numbers at their houses to express sympathies with the bereaved families.
