SRINAGAR: The startups selected during the Ganderbal Youth festival organised by district administration Ganderbal from May 15 to May 21, were felicitated by Kashmir Angel Network (KAN) at IHM, Rajbagh on Saturday.
KAN was technical agency and knowledge partner for the Ganderbal Youth festival and the felicitation event was dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship and startup development in the region, showcasing exceptional talent and entrepreneurial spirit among Kashmiri youth.
The major attraction of felicitation program was a masterclass on Blue Ocean Strategy by Professor Shivakanth Upadhyaya from Harvard University. The Masterclass was moderated by Dr Ashfaqul Ahad, a serial entrepreneur.
The masterclass on Blue Ocean Strategy, a ground-breaking business strategy approach focused on creating uncontested market space. Professor Upadhyaya’s session empowered participants with practical applications and tools to identify new market opportunities and drive growth for their startups.
The felicitation of the Startups was done by Shabir Handoo, Chairman KAN, Prof Saad Parvez, Head IIED Centre, NIT and Prof Pervez Mir, Director, CIED Islamic University.
KAN expressed its gratitude to sponsors, including Cred Integrated Agro Pvt Ltd, for their generous support in making the program and masterclass possible. KAN asserted that the contribution of its sponsors has played a vital role in empowering the Kashmiri youth and fostering regional entrepreneurship.
