Police on Monday said that it arrested two persons with 400 rounds of AK-47 in Bemina area of Srinagar.
The duo was arrested during a naka checking on highway near NR Colony Bemina, in the jurisdiction of Batamaloo police station.
“Two persons were apprehended namely Shakoor Ahmad Ksokhar, son of Sanyee Khee and Tanveer Ahmad Raja, son of Ab Rashid Raja, residents of Teetwal Karnah Kupwara and 400 live rounds of AK-47 were recovered from their possession,” a police said.
