Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami and Hakeem Mohd Yaseen, leaders of newly-formed Third Front Awami Muttahida Mahaz (AMM) have expressed their deep concern over the devastation caused by heavy floods in Jammu & Kashmir.
Both the leaders have asked the government to press emergency services including air force in to service to save precious lives and provide relief to the affected people.
“Essential commodities must be provided and power restored,” the duo demanded. “The Central Governments must urgently send relief to the affected areas. The havoc caused by heavy floods is unprecedented and adequate measures need to be taken by both Center and State Governments for the rehabilitation of the affected people.”
Both leaders have offered their condolences to the bereaved families.
