On receiving invitation from the Raj Bhavan, Athar Aamir ul Shafi Khan, who secured the 2nd rank at the recently announced Civil Services 2015 Examination result called on Governor N N Vohra here on Saturday.
During his interaction with Athar, who hails from Islamabad district, the Governor appreciated his hard work and achievements and congratulated him on his prestigious entry into the Indian Administrative Service, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Governor advised him, “from the very first day of his service, to distinguish the right from the wrong and work honestly and with total dedication for advancing the welfare of the people he was called upon to serve, to whichever post he was assigned”.
The Governor wished Athar a very bright career ahead.
