Kashmir Life Wednesday remembered Arshad Malik on his first death anniversary. He passed away on this day in 2016 at the age of 37.
Associated with the magazine since its inception in 2009, Arshad was Consulting Editor (hon) who would contribute a popular weekly column, Straight Curve.
A prayer meeting was held in the newsroom where participants remembered his contribution and prayed for his soul.
Chairing the remembrance meeting, Kashmir Life’s Managing Editor Masood Hussain said the absence of Arshad is still a pain and would remain forever.
“He was more than a friend. His absence still haunts the entire newsroom,” he said.
Arshad on December 13, 2016, suffered the massive heart attack. He was declared dead on arrival by the hospital authorities.
He was handling media communications of Kanwal Foods & Spices Group, Kashmir for last more than a decade.
