The tweets of Ashsih Kaul, an employee of DDIWorld, a US-based Software Company with a regional head office in Mumbai, in which he promotes and propagates rape and murder of Kashmiri women has angered netizens across the world.

After the screenshot of his tweets (which he deleted later), started doing rounds on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram, and Twitter itself, a number of people complained to DDI World, his employer for action.

Replying to thousand of complaints DDI World received since morning, the company said: “We are investigating the full scope of the situation right now. We recognize the seriousness of these posts and do not condone violence under any circumstances.”

However, so far no action has been taken against Kaul. A number of Twitter users have tagged Gurgaon and UP police to seek their attention against Kaul’s remarks. Interestingly, taking cognizance of the matter, Jammu and Kashmir Police has registered an FIR against Kaul in Kothi Bagh police station under section 505(1) C RPC, 66 IT Act. A formal request has been sent to Twitter Indian for details of Kaul’s account so that action can be taken against him.
