SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police have ordered a probe into the conduct of one of their officers during a protest over the mysterious deaths of two Gujjar youth in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
A video has surfaced on the social media regarding a police officer’s conduct with the public in Kulgam. We have taken cognisance of the yesterday’s incident and the allegations regarding the officers conduct. DIG SKR will enquire and submit his findings within 10 days.

The probe will be conducted by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir.“A video has surfaced on social media regarding a police officer’s conduct with the public in Kulgam. We have taken cognisance of yesterday’s incident and the allegations regarding the officers conduct. DIG SKR will enquire and submit his findings within 10 days,” Kashmir Police Zone said in a post on X.
