SRINAGAR: Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Thursday said it is time to stand with Kashmir’s economy and appealed to people across the country to visit the Valley again.
Speaking to reporters, Naidu, said that just as the country stood united after the Pahalgam attack, the same unity is now needed to support Kashmir’s economy.
“We are here to help revive tourism in Kashmir. Flight operations have resumed. People should visit again. It is a safe place to travel,” he said.
Naidu also reviewed facilities at Srinagar Airport. “Flight operations at the airport have resumed. I met locals who stressed that tourism should be revived. The government will take all necessary steps in this regard,” he added. (KNO)
