Weather conditions worsened on Tuesday in Kashmir as temperature dipped to 3 degree Celsius. The dip which is unusual, send people shivering much ahead of winter, and is giving feel of early onset of winter.

Drop in temperature and chilly weather conditions are indications of early onset of winter. The Valley already received its first snowfall of the season in the upper reaches of the Gulmarg last week and on Tuesday, Sonamarg and some remote parts of north Kashmir witnessed snowfall.

In next few days, the temperature is going to dip further, much to the discomfort of the people. With early onset, the people at large were caught at wrong foot with lack of arrangements to fight the cold.
