Criticizing the BJP for wedging apart the society in the name of region and religion, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana said that BJP is communalizing the situation in the erstwhile Doda district for petty political gains. Rana was addressing workers meeting at Kastigarh on Tuesday.

“BJP is trying to divide the society on communal lines by creating a fear psychosis”, he said and warned the BJP not to disturb the secular fabric of the area, he  emphasized that Doda is an epitome of secularism and it has to be preserved as such.

“Doda represents pluralistic ethos, cultural diversity and communal harmony and brotherhood and the J&K National Conference will not allow the communal traits of BJP to flourish either in this sub-region or in any part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir”, said Rana.

Rana said BJP in the state is a rudderless ship with a confused leadership whose cadre is disgruntled, disillusioned and disheartened with the conduct of its leaders and is desperately looking for a political space outside the BJP because they see no future for the BJP in the state as also any future for themselves within the BJP.
