SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) Vice President, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday accused the government of misleading people, and said that the situation in the UT was far from normal.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the function at Nawa-e-Subha, Omar,said, “We are pained to see the targeting attacks in Kashmir. Whenever the statements about the improvement in the situation are being issued, we are witnessing the targeted attacks. Both civilians as well as police personnel are becoming the victims. The government should speak the truth about the situation in Kashmir,” he said.
“Sometimes police is targeted, sometimes civilians. The situation is not normal, while the government trying to mislead the people,” Omar said. (KNO)
