SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir has announced a 10-day summer vacation for all teaching departments of its main and off-site campuses from July 24 to August 2, 2026.
According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the summer break will be observed across all teaching departments of the university.
The university, however, said that Heads, Directors and Coordinators of departments, off-site campuses and centres shall ensure that their offices continue to function as per routine.
The notice further stated that examinations, if any, and other scheduled activities will be conducted as per the already notified schedule.
The order was issued by the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), University of Kashmir, on July 10, 2026.
