Amid fresh rainfall in plains, Kashmir valley’s upper reaches have received season’s first snowfall.
As per the reports, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Kupwara, Sheeshnagand other hilly areas have received season’s first snowfall during the intervening night of September 21-22.
While predicting weather improvement from Wednesday, the Meteorological Department said that rains will continue to lash many parts of Valley in the next 24 hours.
