A Kashmiri advertising professional and senior VP and Executive Business Director at J Walter Thompson Jaibeer Ahmad has resigned from the marketing communications brand JWT, media reports claimed on Tuesday.

At JWT, Jaibeer leads the integrated accounts including mainline and digital for a range of brands including beverage brands – Pepsi and Tropicana, Kurkure, JK Tourism and Delhi Daredevils.

Ahmad joined the agency in 2013 and has spent about seven years at Wunderman Thompson (previously J. Walter Thompson). He has won a Clio for the Pepsi IPL Cans, Effie’s for Pepsi Emoji campaign and JK Tourism ‘Warmest Place on Earth’. Ahmad previously held the position of vice president at Saatchi & Saatchi, (now known as L&K Saatchi & Saatchi).

On September 22, 2017, the digital film ‘Warmest Place on Earth’, which is a little over 5 minutes in duration, was launched by then J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, wherein she shared the film in her first tweet from her Twitter handle. In less than 48 hours of its launch, the film received over 1.8 million views on Facebook alone.

Later many celebrities such as Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Vikas Khanna, Meghna Gulzar, Raveena Tandon and others Tweeted the film and social media was all praise about the story and plot of the film.
