As Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Lahore airport in a surprise visit, ‘Kashmiri Chai’ is being served to Indian premier.

On way back from Russia, Modi tweeted early Friday that he shall land in Lahore to wish Pakistan Premier, Mian Nawaz Sharief, on his birthday. Sharief turned 66 today.

Modi was received by Sharief at Lahore airport minutes ago wherefrom he is being airlifted to Sharief’s Raiwind residence in Punjab.

He was received by Pakistan Foreign Minister and Punjab Chief Minister besides Sharief. Modi shall be in Pakistan for two hours.

Cake, Kheer besides Kashmiri Chai’ are included in the menu being served to Indian premier.

‘Kashmiri Chai’ is served in Pakistan on special occasions in winter.
