In a barbaric act, a Kashmiri kid was slaughter to death in Pagwara area of Punjab on Thursday.
A Kashmiri shawl seller, Javeed Ahmad Lone, camping in a locality called Bhagatpur in Pagwara was accompanying his son, Irshad Lone, with him.
“On Thursday morning, the sellers left to sell their shawls and left the child at their room,” said Aijaz Ahmad, who is also in Punjab.
“When in the evening, we returned we found his throat and belly slit body in the room. They (murderers) had taken everything including a cash of around Rs 60000 and some expensive shawls.”
Javeed Lone, the grieving father while talking to Kashmir Life said that he is feeling helpless as no one is helping them. “Police are yet to register an FIR in the case,” he said.
Meanwhile, Irshad’s body was sent for a post mortem.
