SRINAGAR: Police in North Kashmir have booked a trio under the Public Safety Act and transferred them to Jammu Jail for their alleged involvement in ‘anti-India’ activities.

Baramulla Police reported that multiple cases had been registered against these three individuals in connection with anti-national activities.

The police further stated that formal detention orders were obtained from the competent authorities, resulting in the trio being transferred to Kot Balwal Jail in Jammu.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Tawseef Ahmed from Andargam Pattan, Ghulam Muhammad Lone from Lachipora Uri, and Shahzad Ahmed Malik, a resident of Singhpora Pattan. [KNT]
