A Kashmiri youth will represent  India at the International Aainball Congress in Morocco and Portugal in December this year to discuss about the developments of the game and preparations for upcoming world cup and the leagues that will be played in 2017- 2018.

Secretary Aainball Federation of India (AFI), Sayed Waseem has been recently elected as representative of the Federation of International Aainball (FIAB) in India.

Waseem, 26, hails from Karimabad hamlet of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and has done his MCom from Manu Bharti University Solan in Himachal Pradesh.

He has been associated with Aainball for last several years.

Waseem is also the state secretary of Youth of True India (YOTI), a foundation which organizes many sports and educational events in India.

Speaking to Kashmir Life, Waseem said, “as it is my job to promote the game in India, I would like to prepare youth from my homeland, Kashmir to participate and represent at World Cup.”

The International Aainball Congress will be attended by the delegations from 55 countries.
