Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader and chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah Thursday said that during the recently concluded “so-called” elections, “people didn’t vote PDP patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed to tie up with Sangh Parivar”.

“He (Mufti) is deliberating upon tying with communal and anti-Kashmir party, BJP, for the government formation just for the lust of power,” Shah in a statement issued said.

He said Kashmiris reject all such double standard politics and will fight tooth and nail against any such communal attempt aimed at “eroding the special status of Jammu Kashmir or its demographic change”.

Shah made it clear that India, from time to time, “stages election dramas here and as a result, through the puppet administration is planning to full fill its nefarious designs here”.

The statement said that Shah reiterated that PDP, NC, Congress and all independent members are different faces of the same coin.
