Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the brutal killing of two innocent youth Irfan Nabi of Markundal Sumbal and Tariq Ahmad Laharwal of Koundbal Sumbal by army. He termed the loss as personal and termed it as another glaring example of ‘Indian state terrorism that has been unleashed by this so called democracy in Jammu and Kashmir’.

“Day before the incident, Indian Foreign Minister was giving us a lesson to forget and forgive and after only some hours his forces have once again shown their ugly brutal face and killed more innocents”, he said.

Malik claimed that Kashmiris are not safe even in their own homes while as ‘beasts from whole India roam around freely killing whosoever comes their way’.

Calling for a complete shutdown on Monday against the massacre of innocent Kashmiris, Yasin Malik appealed people express their anger against this brutality and observe a complete shut down on Monday 1st July 2013.

“This sacred blood of Kashmiris cannot go unnoticed and Indian brutal state and its Kashmiri puppets who will now start shedding crocodile tears on these killings, according to the divine law of retribution of crimes will have to reply for these criminal acts”, he said.

According to a JKLF press statement, as soon as Yasin received the news of this brutal act, he along with other JKLF leaders departed towards Sumbal.

“On reaching sumbal, Yasin sahib and others were stopped by a large contingent of police and CRPF and arrested him on the spot. Those who have been arrested included Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik, JKLF leaders Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Bashir Ahmad kashmiri, Shahid Makaya. JKLF H chairman Javed Ahmad Mir was also arrested on the occasion”, it added.
