#KashmirNow: Army Opens Fire In Bandipora; Four Youth Injured in Clashes

At least four youths are injured when army opened fire in North Kashmir’s Bandipora.

Police sources said that army men had went to Saderkote to acquire jeltine from miners ion the area.

“Army was suggested against going in the area which it didn’t entertain,” police sources said.

On reaching Saderkote, youths raised anti-India protests which eventually resulted into stone pelting and army opened fire.

“One youth has been hit by bullet,” sources said, “he has been rushed to SKIMS where his condition is critical.”

Police sources said that three other youths are also injured; one was hit by pellets, another was hit by tear gas shell and one more youth was thrashed by forces. All of them have been referred to Soura hospital.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura told Kashmir Life, “four youths have been brought here from Saderkote who are stable.”

He added that two more youths were brought from Anchar area of Srinagar but “they too are stable”.
