In view of the prevailing situation in Kashmir region, University of Kashmir has extended summer break up to July 16.
PRO Kashmir University told Kashmir Life that the summer vacations have been extended up to July 16. The colleges across Kashmir were supposed to open on July 14.
Earlier, the varsity cancelled all its exams.
36 civilians have been killed while over 1500 persons are injured due to bullets and pellets opened by forces during protests after militant commander Burhan Wani was killed on last Friday evening in Kokernag area of South Kashmir.
