The programme, being implemented under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, will be telecast on DD Kashir every Friday from 8:30 pm to 9 pm.

It will focus on the skills and craftsmanship behind Kashmir’s traditional products, exploring their cultural, historical and economic importance while bringing the experiences of local artisans to a wider audience.

The initiative is also intended to improve public awareness of traditional crafts, increase the visibility of handicraft and handloom products, and support craft-based enterprises by connecting them with the wider micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) ecosystem.

Through the programme, the Directorate aims to showcase the creativity and dedication of artisans who have sustained Kashmir’s distinctive craft traditions across generations.

The initiative is aligned with the objectives of the RAMP Scheme, which seeks to strengthen MSMEs, improve their competitiveness and expand their access to markets and institutional support to promote sustainable enterprise growth.

The Directorate has invited members of the public, craft enthusiasts, tourists and researchers to watch the programme on DD Kashir every Friday at 8:30 pm to learn more about Kashmir’s traditional crafts and the people behind them.
