Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) on Wednesday denounced Jammu Bar association’s bandh call in support of the accused in gangrape and murder of eight-year-old Asifa Bano.
Scores of traders under the banner of Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) and Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) held protests here against Jammu based lawyers for supporting the alleged perpetrators of ‘gruesome’ rape and murder.
Threatening to launch a massive statewide agitation in case government failed to deliver justice in the case, traders said: “pressure is being created to subvert the case so that culprits are given an easy escape”.
