Fazal Hussain Khan, an office bearer of All J&K Sarpanch and Panches Association who had filed his nomination from J-1 constituency for Legislative Council elections had withdrawn his papers in support of ruling coalition candidate Dr Shenaz Ganai and Sham Lal Bhagat, NC announced today. The party termed Khan as chairman of Panchs and Sarpanchs.
Apart from assuring is support to the ruling coalition, the statement said Khan will go all out to canvass and gather support for the coalition candidates. The statement quoting Dr Shenaz Ganai thanking Khan for this decision and appealed panches and sarpanches of Jammu province to bless her and support the coalition candidates from Jammu province for herself and Sham Lal Bhagat.
