After a picture of Fiad Mushtaq Waza, 18, a resident of Kawa Mohallah, Khanyar in Srinagar, wielding a gun, went viral on social media; his mother has appealed him to return.
Faid’s mother, along with a few family members came to Press Enclave and made a desperate appeal for his return. “Those who join militant ranks are my sons too. I respect all of them, but Faid is too young. I appeal to them to send him home, else I will die,” said Faid’s mother Mymoona.
According to family, Faid was missing since last week, as he left home telling his parents that he is going with Tableegi Jamaat. Last evening Faid’s picture was viral on social media, in which he was seen carrying a gun. The picture announced that Faid has joined Lashkar-e-Toiba. “I just want him to come back,” said Mymoona.
