SRINAGAR: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq will deliver a sermon at the revered shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Naqshband Sahib (RA) at Khawaja Bazar, Nowhatta, on Monday on the occasion of Khawaja Digar.
The Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar said the sermon will be delivered on 3rd Rabi’ al-Awwal, corresponding to August 17, in accordance with the centuries-old tradition associated with the Mirwaizeen of Kashmir.
The sermon will begin at 4 pm, followed by congregational Asr prayers at 5:30 pm at the historic Astaan-e-Aaliya.
The Anjuman has urged devotees to participate in large numbers in the gathering.
