Karbalaye while confirming the development told KNS that the party leadership has already conveyed him about his nomination for the chairmanship of the council. “I have been informed about the decision and the formal election would take place on Monday when all the councilors would meet for the first time,” Karbalaye told KNS. He added that the claim for the formation of the council has already been staked by congress on September 05 and added that with National Conference having withdrawn their claim, there was no need for congress to renew the claim.
