Residents of Bhadarwah, Kishtwar towns and Khari tehsil of Ramban district in Chenab Valley on Friday observed a complete shutdown against the killing of civilians in kulgam district.

Reports said that shutdown affected normal life as the majority of the shops and business establishments and educational institutions remained shut. The shutdown call was forwarded by Anjuman-e-Islamia Bhadarwah and Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar.

Pertinent to mention, four civilians were killed on April 11, during the clashes near encounter site in Wani Mohalla, Khudwani village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
