Handwara police has recovered an abducted girl from Unsoo area while another abducted lady was recovered by Islamabad police from Ramban. Both the kidnappers have been arrested and cases under relevant sections were registered against them.
Police Post Chogul received a written complaint from one person that his 17 years old daughter (name with held) has been kidnapped by one person namely Mohammad Rafiq Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar resident of Unisoo Handwara.
On this information a case FIR number 359/2017 under section 363 RPC was registered and investigation was set into motion. During the course of investigation various raids were conducted at suspected places.
After strenuous efforts, Handwara police recovered the girl from Unisoo and arrested the accused.
Meanwhile in Islamabad, a written complaint from one person (name withheld) was reported in Police Station Dooru wherein it was stated that his wife (name withheld) has been kidnapped by one person namely Waheed Ahmad Khatana son of Abdul Rashid Khatana resident of Soomad Ramban.
On this information Police station Dooru registered a case FIR No 60/2017 under section 366, 109 RPC and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation raids were conducted at various places. After strenuous efforts, the lady was recovered from Ramban and the accused was arrested.
The further investigation of both the cases is going on.
