Terming the killing of a three years old child and his father in mysterious condition as big tragedy and very unfortunate for the people of Kashmir, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani Saturday said that no religion in the world allows killing of child even in the battle ground.
“It is the murder of the whole humanity and whoever had done this act has committed a serious crime against the humanity which should be protested by every human being,” Geelani said in a statement this evening.
Geelani Sahab said, “death of a Syrian child Aylan Kurdi shook the whole world and the killing of Kashmiri child Burhan has left the entire Kashmir in mourning.” “Everybody has a question in his mind that for what crime was this three years child killed.”
Demanding impartial investigation into these killings, Hurriyat patriarch said, “the way in which these killings are happening under the nose of army and police it looks like that it is the practical of that statement of the Indian defence minister, Manohar Parriker, in which he had talked about the use of terrorism against the terrorism.”
Geelani added, “thousands of people have been killed in the past by the government sponsored gunmen and those incidents are yet to be investigated and due to that these killings are still going on here. We are not calling for shutdown out of any amusement and we every time try minimum use of this option of protest but the killing of an innocent child have made this issue very serious and so we called for shutdown despite knowing this fact that the Eid-ul-Azha is very near with this belief that the people will understand the seriousness of the issue and will cooperate in making the today’s shutdown call a success.”
