While covering the funeral procession of the slain militants who were killed in Awoora gunfight, a teargas shell has hit and injured Kashmir Life photo chief Bilal Bhadur Monday morning.
Photojournalists who were accompanying Bilal informed that Police directly fired a teargas shell at Bilal Bhadur as he was covering the funeral procession of the slain militants.
A photojournalist said that Bilal despite showing his camera to the forces was shot at. “The incident occurred just outside the Bijbehara hospital.”
“Bilal has suffered injuries in his left arm,” he said and added that he is being treated at Sub-district hospital Bijbehara.
