SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in various areas of Srinagar and Pampore to facilitate essential maintenance work on high-voltage transmission lines.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Barbarshah TRC Nedous Tap line will be shut down on March 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM, to carry out maintenance on the 33KV Bemina-Barbarshah TRC Tap line, which serves as a backup for the 33KV Cheshmashahi TRC Nedous Line.
Similarly, preventive maintenance and pole erection work on the 33KV Pampore-Lethpora line will necessitate a shutdown on March 10 and 12, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. As a result, the 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Konibal, Lethpora, LIS Ladhoo, Mills, and HPCL will remain non-operational, affecting power supply to Samboora, Lethpora, Patalbagh, Konibal, Chandhara, and Ladhoo.
