SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Srinagar will remain affected for six hours on September 28 due to a scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Cheshmashahi-Brein-Nishat transmission line, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said on Tuesday.
According to KPDCL, the shutdown will be observed from 8 am to 2 pm, affecting power supply to Ishber, Brein, Nishat, Foreshore Road, Pathan Bagh and adjoining areas.
Meanwhile, KPDCL has cancelled the approved shutdown of the 33 kV Badampora-Lar Tulmulla line that was scheduled for September 24 and 29.
