SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has informed that scheduled shutdowns of 33 KV transmission lines will be carried out, affecting power supply in several areas.
As per the statement, shutdown of the 33 KV Burzhama Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Danihama, Khimber, Chaterhama, Telbal, Burzhama, Gassu, Shoperbagh, Rahbagh, Batpora and adjoining areas will remain affected from 10 AM to 3 PM on April 12, 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of the 33 KV Rangreth–JAKLI Tapline will be observed, resulting in disruption of power supply to JAKLI and Beacon areas from 10 AM to 2 PM on April 15, 2025.
Authorities have advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled maintenance work.
