SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in multiple areas of the Kashmir division over the coming days.
In an official communication, the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said the 33 KV Panzan Tapline will remain shut on June 16, 2026, resulting in disruption of power supply to Gudsathoo, Panzan, Lalgam, Rangar, Kharibagh, Kathairgund and adjoining areas. The outage will be in effect from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Similarly, the 33 KV Cheshmashahi–TRC line will be shut on June 20, 2026, affecting power supply to Durganag, Gupkar and nearby areas from 11:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
In addition, the 33 KV Wanpoh–Ashajipora/Malaknag double-circuit line will also remain shut on June 18 and 20, 2026. The shutdown will impact power supply to Ashajipora, Dialgam, Rohu, Mirbazar, Schichen, Brinty, Malaknag, Reshi Bazar, Janglatmandi, Shirpora, BB Nowgam, Thajiwara, Brakpora and adjoining areas from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on both days.
