SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in Budgam to facilitate augmentation works on the 33 KV Budgam Parthan Line, impacting multiple areas on specified dates.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33 KV Waterhail Tap Line will undergo a shutdown on December 3 and 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This will affect the 33/11 KV Receiving Station at Waterhail, resulting in power outages in Samsan, Parthan, Waterhail, and PHE Substation areas.
Similarly, the 33 KV Kremshore Line will also experience a shutdown on December 7, 2024, during the same hours, impacting 33/11 KV Receiving Stations at Kremshore, Khansahib, Raithan, and Brenwar. Consequently, electricity supply to Kremshore, Khansahib, Raithan, Bugroo, and Brenwar areas will remain suspended.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly.
