SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced a scheduled power shutdown of the 33 KV Achabal–Cherpora tap line on April 11 and April 14, 2026.
According to the statement, the shutdown will be carried out from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both days to facilitate maintenance works on the transmission line.
During the shutdown period, power supply will remain affected in Achabal, Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora and adjoining areas.
The KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
