SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, has announced planned shutdowns of key 33 KV lines, affecting power supply to several areas across Kashmir valley.
The 33 KV Wanpoh-Ashajipora and Wanpoh-Malaknag DC lines will be out of service on January 8 and 10, resulting in power disruption from 9 AM to 3 PM in Ashajipora, Dialgam, Malaknag, Hazratbal, Brakpora, Doonipawa, and surrounding localities.
Similarly, the 33 KV Bemina-Fateh Kadal and Bemina-Barbarshah lines will be shut down on January 8, 12 and 15, affecting electricity supply from 10 AM to 3 PM in Mohalla Nowpora, Bohrikadal, BB Shah, Bishembarnagar, Gousia Hospital, Naisarak, Barbarshah, Exchange, Basant Bagh, Car Parking Maisuma, and adjoining areas.
Residents in the affected localities have been advised to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outages.
