A two-day recruitment drive concluded at the University of Kashmir on Thursday.

The job drive was organized by the University’s Centre for Career Planning & Counselling (CCPC) in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on December 16-17, a varsity statement said this evening.

Director CCPC, Prof Farooq Ahmad Khan, said leading corporate houses of India including Accenture, Aress Software, CIPET, Excel Infocom, Fidelis, Future Learning, IMS Health, KPMG, Ligare, Manpower Group Services India Pvt Ltd, MBD Group, Mount Talent Consulting, Multicare Services (India) Pvt Ltd, Reliance HR Services, Rooman Technologies, SE–Biz, Sahaj-e-Village, Tata Motors and Vision India Staffing participated in the recruitment drive.

“Hundreds of students with graduation in Science, Arts, Commerce, Computers and Engineering and post-graduate students in Management and other fields had applied for various profiles offered by more than 20 companies,” he said.

Prof Khan said the Centre has ambitious plans of providing training and employment opportunities to youth of Jammu and Kashmir. “The valley of Kashmir has highly talented and competent youth and the Centre is striving hard to bring top recruiters from different parts of the country for their recruitment,” he said.
