The makers of “Tales of Siege” video have now come up with another video on Kashmir Conflict. The video has gone viral in Kashmir’s social media circles. It is a story on the pellet victims who lost eye sight in the summer uprising of 2016.

The video has been made by a group of five students from Kashmir Universities Media Education Research Centre. The group goes by the name “Raconteur A Story Teller”.

The 5.27 minute music video named “Meri Beenayi Louta De” (Return to me, my eyesight) has appealing background music. The song is written, composed and sung by the noted Singer Imran Latief.  The lyrics of the Urdu song carry solidarity message for pellet victims. The video is also available on YouTube.

Imran Latief, who is a studio manager at Kashmir University’s Media Education Research Centre, MERC, told Kashmir Life, “As a Kashmiri and as an artist it is my duty to express my feelings and solidarity for victims and I thought this is the best way I could do it.”
