Scores of students of Kashmir University (KU) staged a protest demonstration at Zakura campus on Sunday against the militant killings in Shopian and Islamabad.
Shouting pro-Azadi and anti-India slogans, the protesting students carried banners reading, ‘End Occupation, Free Kashmir’.
Pertinently, eight militants were killed in south Kashmir after an encounter broke out between forces and militants in Dialgam area of Islamabad and in two separate villages of Shopian district.
