Police on Sunday claimed to have killed two LeT militants and another caught alive during an encounter in Cheddar area of Qaimoh of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A senior Police official said that two militants have been killed and the third was caught alive and has been identified as Shakir Ahmad who has joined the outfit some two months back.
The police officer identified one of the sain militant as Shakoor Ahmad from Kulgam. Whereas the other slain militant might be a foreigner, the police officer said.
